The ATO has signaled their intent to penalize last lodgment of Bas and tax returns very heavily. In the hope of recouping funds provided during Covid they are looking to recoup in a big way. We have now seen fines of up to $1500 for late lodgment of Bas and tax returns.
Please ensure that you lodge on time to avoid any penalties. Due dates can be found through your MY Gov account or by contacting our office.
