WBG GIVES BACK

Wakefield Business believes that it is important to give back the Community charities in various forms and at various levels. To this end Rajesh Singh is a voluntary board member of the Adelaide Turf Cricket Associate and presents a weekly Sports radio show on Community radio station Coast FM. He has been involved in this show for over 15 years.

Since 1994 Adelaide has hosted the Christmas Party for Special Children in South Australia which since 2002 has been held at the Adelaide Zoo. This event gives children with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a day just for them and we couldn't do without the generosity of the business community. WBG is proud to help with this special cause.

Forestville is one of the 10 member clubs of Basketball SA and has a strong tradition of success at both junior and senior levels. The club is based at the Wayville Sports Centre. WBG is proud to be as a sponsor of this club which provides great opportunities for all junior and senior basketballers.

WBG also does and honorary audit for Tanzeed and sits on the board of this registered charity as an adviser. Tanzeed believes in empowerment through Education and is in the process of building a school in Tanzania to support the local community and give locals access to education.

Morialta Netball Club participates in the South Australian United Church Netball Association (SAUCNA). Located in Magill, Morialta is both a junior and senior club, catering to all skill levels with a focus on development. Morialta is dedicated to providing a caring environment to learn netball. We have been operating for more than 70 years with a rich heritage. WBG is proud to be a sponsor of such a great club which is run solely by volunteers.

WBG does an honorary audit for the BOSA soccer club. We believe it is important to support grassroots sports.
